Kenya Airways cutting B777-200ER fleet
Kenya Airways is planning to cut back on its B777 fleet with four B777-200ERs to be sold off by May.

Kenyan media outlets report the first aircraft are scheduled to be disposed of between April and May of Media in Kenya reported that the carrier is also considering the future of its fleet of three B777-300ERs as they are proving too large for Kenya Airways’ requirements. Delivered in 2013 and 2014, the aircraft operated on routes to Amsterdam, Bangkok, Guangzhou and Dubai Int’l but are now only operating to Amsterdam and London Heathrow. The Kenya carrier is reportedly looking at B787s as the ideal size for its long- and medium-haul requirements. Kenya Airways has taken delivery of six out of nine B787-8s it has on order (with options for four more)
